Dr. Sam Cunningham is dedicated to helping food and agricultural businesses thrive by developing new business opportunities and by introducing new products.

Dr. Cunningham has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology, and a Doctorate in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Cunningham began his professional career in the academic world as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee. After several years, Dr. Cunningham moved into business development positions within the food industry. He was successful in New Product Development and General Management positions for Frito-Lay and Pepsi Foods International. Dr. Cunningham has also served as Director of Quality Assurance and the Almond Research Center for Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Cunningham is a professional food scientist with strong international business development experience. He has been highly successful in Consumer Products as well as Food Ingredients businesses. He has extensive experience in developing and marketing new products in the USA and in export markets. He has conducted business development programs in more than 25 countries. Considered expert on nuts. Expert witness.
